Pumpkins

So here goes my contribution to Fall Fest.
For the Longest time Pumpkins have been a symbol of October and the whole Haloween spirit, but really who is thinking about the pumpkin. I mean I wouldn't like my face carved and be made into a Jackolantern. Here is a true pumpkin tale.

Howl-O-Scream

So, this morning at about 1:35 (2:35 if last night weren't the first night of Day Light Savings) I returned from HOWL-O-SCREAM.
' OK, so imagine this; I arrived at Busch Gardens only to find a bunch of fog machines and laser lights. I embarked onto a small path crammed with people and found... DaDaDa... a bunch of face painted workers slamming shovels against the ground in an attempt to frighten passers by. This was by no means creepafying, but I knew the worst was yet to come.
' I pursued further Ghouls and Goblins and found myself strolling through some kind of haunted house. In this house I got the my first really scare of the night, it happend like this. I strolled through one of the haunted house's rooms and saw a ghoul in a pretty bad hiding spot so I began to stare at it so it could not come up behind me. Are eyes were locked in some kind of gruesome staring match. Then I bumped into something behind and turned to see what it was... Standing behind me was a ghoul with a knife. Of course the ghoul didn't stab me in the back and send me into an eternal sleep, but hey it was a good scare.
' I went through a few other haunted houses and on some roller coasters and enjoyed them all Until... AFTER HOURS.
' After Hours was a strobe light infested, fog full of gruesome haunted house. I really cannot recall the events that happend during this house for I was in a sleep like state. I remember being blinded by strobe lights and running to the end of the Haunted House.
' As you can see I had a lot of fun at Howl-o-Scream.

That is the big question this Saturday. In case you didn't know Howl-o-Scream is a Halloween event at Busch Gardens, aka Very scary, exciting and all that good stuff. Surprisingly enough I will be there. I really have no idea what it will be like. I will post how it was when I get back... If I make it back.

As always there is a catastrophe heading for me, yet this time it is not an animation catastrophe. Today's catastrophe is Hurricane Wilma. Even though Wilma was, at one time, the most powerful storm on record, I am not worried, though apparently my school district is; it canceled school tomorrow. YAY! I will keep you updated if Wilma proves to be strong.

Blogging in these parts has become scarce. I am finally coming back to that thing we calls the INTERNET. The reason things have been so slow is do to the things stated above. Book wise, this weekend I started and ended two books.
Book 1 was the Printer's Devil, this was an intreguing book about a London orphan named Mog Winter. Mog finds the largest theft scandle london has ever seen unfolding around him. I give the Printer's Devil a 8.5 out of 10.
Book 2 was a book called Urichin of Riding Stars. It is the first book in a series called The Mismantle Chronicles. This book was about a young squirrel who finds that the whole kingdom of Mismantle is about to be taken over by the King's Head Captain. It was a well written book that had deceit, lies and murder around every corner. I say it was a 9 out of 10.
Finally I have been very busy with school work and I am still ajusting to waking up at 6:00 a.m. every day.

By the by animations are drawing near.

Yesterday afternoon Joe, Lou and I decided to take a bike ride to the park our day went as follows.

Bike- We biked in the sticky Florida heat on a total up hill ride to THE PARK.

Swings- Now this was cwazy. Flying in air as if we were super heroes while at the same time we were plummiting towards the ground.

Frisbee- Whether it be between the legs or with the legs we would always catch the frisbee.

All in all a great day.

Well actually I lost two teeth. I have not lost a tooth in a while so this was nice. As I was flossing my teeth last night I ripped my floss, not to odd. Then my mouth started bleeding like crazy so I wiggled a few teeth. POP! 1st tooth down. Then when I was running to show my mom I felt my other teeth. I wiggled it back once and my mouth was oozing with blood and the tooth was hanging cockeye. Then with one mighty pull I yanked out the other tooth.

Today was a good day for me I got four books. I got Tales From the Brothers Grimm and Sisters Weird, How to Disapear and Never be Found, Heart of Darkness and When My Name Was Keoko. I finished the Bros Grimm today, it was a montage of knockoff fairytales, 9/10 is my Rating. Tomorrow I would like to start Heart of Darkness. It is about an adventurer who gets lost in Africa attempting to find his friend. All in all today was full of Literature.

How it all began... My life on the web

For some reason this topic came to mind for a blog post, and after thinking it over it seemed like an outstanding idea. Today I will explain how my life on the web began, the full story.
I have not always been an animator, Blogger and expert in Flash MX; I began as just the slightest, slightest assistant on Ridikulund. Ridikulund was Lou's very first website, I myself am happy his talents have improved. Well anyway, it wasn't lou's Ridikulund that started it, it was Ridikulund's very first "cartoon". The cartoon was created on microsoft powerpoint and with all honesty it STUNK, it was really just a comic strip that showed parts in some order. Though the cartoon was disgraceful but it started me animating, in a way, with for my perposes the greatest program in the world, Microsoft Powerpoint.
After about a half a year with powerpoint I began to realize it just wasn't good enough for me, that was when lou started talking about this crazy program called Flash. After explaining details, Lou and I downloaded a free trial for flash. When all the downloads had completed I was very disapointed. Using powerpoint all my career I thought I could just say the words and it would animate, I was sadly mistaken. My first attempts using flash were nugatory, they all failed.
I later learned a bit more about the Flash element and began making pretty bad short toons, they still opened doors.
Still redownloading freetrials Lou began to make a fair cartoon with Sam. I asked Lou if I could help but he said I wasn't experienced enough so I decide I would make my own cartoon with Joe, that series became Albino Penguin.
After that the tamposi Bros. decided to establish TDN. And so my animation has progressed until present day, striking my intrests in Blogging and other web activities and so we are in the present day.

Today the dreaded has begun, the eternally loathed... School Open House. "DA DA DA"
Well truthfully it's not that ominous, and it is not the Open House that is so called Loathed it is School its self, and even that isn't bad. I am very happy with my teachers because the majority of them have had Lou or Joe. My only worry is that the somniferous assignments in some of my classes will knock me cold.
All said and done I am looking forward to school.

Russian Sub

Today I would like to write a less frivolous post and talk about A bit of current news. Today, or with the time differences yesterday, A Russian Mini Sub holding 7 men was rescued from 610 ft. under the Pacific Ocean. The 7 men had been enduring chilling temperatures for approximitly 76 hours, along with the temperature there was the threat that the Sub would run out of oxygen prior to its rescue.
Apparantly the Sub was trapped since Thursday but the Russian Navy did not call for international help until the next day.
An intresting thing about the perdicament that I do not know is how the Sub got stuck. Earlier I heard it was trapped under a fishing net, then a navy antenna, then a fishing net. They still haven't come to a conclusion on what captured the Sub.
I am so happy the Men on board are safe.

Lake

Guys right now I am in New Hampshire right now, but that can't stop my blogging. I am at a big lake called Lake Winnipasaukee it is great. I have been watersking, tubing, canoeing and swimming.
Ski wise I have been working very hard to ski on one ski, but my prodigious efforts are all in vain. I still have improved greatly.
I have also have had cwazy doses of monopoly, for better or for worse. On the good side I enjoy monopoly more than any other board game. On the bad side sometimes monopoly brings out the vile part of my attitude. Still I would rather play monopoly than Shutes and Ladders.
In other news Lou will return from camp on Sunday. I can't wait to see Lou, it has almost been three weeks since our last encounter.
Finally, In the next couple weeks the greatest Tamposi animation will come out on computers everywhere.

Camp fun

Guys, yesterday I came home from camp. I had an outstanding summer probably the best out of the five summers I've gone to camp.
I had 8 people in my bunk. 2 counslers and 6 campers. At camp I did everything from archery to water polo. During the first couple of days at camp I was quite home sick, home sickness is a miserble feeling if you have ever experienced it. Then by the fourth day I got over my home sickness and started to enjoy the summer.
One of my favorite parts of camp was my overnight. As you may have guessed I sleep in a bunk, but on my over night I sleep out in the woods. Ironicly I was sick the day of my overnight but that would not stop me so I joined my Bunk mates. During the overnight I collected wood, made a "mushburger" and made Smores, after we made Smores they checked my temperature. It was 101 Degrees F, so they took me to the health center and I slept there. I was kind of happy I had a fever because I got to do the fun parts of the over night and I missed a horrible sleep on the ground. All in all everything worked out.
Thats all folks.

Mushburger- a slab of raw meat with your choice of toppings wrapped in tin foil and thrown in the fire. DELICIOUS.

Guys today I just found out about a couple of google downloads. One of the downloads is Hello. Hello is an instant picture messenger made by Picasa. Also there is the google toolbar which is just neat. Another Downloadable thing is Gmail Notifier which alerts you when you get a Gmail. All in All google is Awsaamm.

I am currently reading a cwazy book called the Wee Free Men. It is about a group of vicious, 6 inch high, Sheep steeling, Ruffians and a Shepherdess named Tiffiany. It is an amazing book that shows the great barrior between Reality and Fantasy. I highly suggest this book to anyone young or old.

When in Boston I went to an Aquarium with lou, Joe and my cousins. It was awsaam! The Aquarium was also full of penguins. Lou got some pics. After that we went to Quincy Market, Probably the biggest food court in the world. All in All I had a great time.

The Happiest Place on Earth

Yesterday my family and a few friends went to Disney World. Disney was great because yesterday was a miserable day and the lines were short. On the other hand it was Gay Day at Disney which made it a tad awkward. We did most of the good rides viz. Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain and Test Track. After we did all of that we went to dinner at the Grand Floridian which was scrumptious. Then we returned home at Midnight on the dot.

Wow its been awhile hasn't it, I thought summer was supposed to be just about writing blog posts and making toons. BOY I was wrong. Well I have been really busy. Every morning now I have to wake up at 6:00 am for swimming which ends at 8:30. Also I have been playing some serious tennis with Joe, Lou and my Dad. Right now I am really reading two books The Art of War by Sun Tzu and Millions by Cottrell Boyce. The The Art of War an outsanding book about how to use great millatary tactics, it is also full step 1 step 2 step 3. If you like war or just want something to read this book is for you. Millions in my opinion is an outstanding book and the are all ready getting ready to make a movie of it. It is about two boys who find millions of Pounds but they have to spend it all in seven days. Both of these are outstanding books and I highly suggest them to readers of all ages.

Swim-a-thon and UFO

Guys last night was the all night swim-a-thon and it was wild. Also I saw my first UFO, I know, I know it sounds crazy but it is true. When my dad and I were driving back from the swim a thon at about 10:30 P.M. we saw a fire colored thing in the sky about 10 times as long as a regular star and the same width. It was to slow to be an airplane or a helicopter. Then after about 1 minute of flying it broke up into three pieces then it dissapeared. Then it reformed and exploded in a way.

Hey guys, yesterday I got a new microphone and thats pretty cool but also I may have just learned the greatest animation technique of all time it is MOTION TWEENING. Motion tweening is when you draw the first and last keyframe of a movement and flash will fill in the rest, IT ROCKS!

Yesterday my family and I went to see the play Big River in Tampa. It was awsome even though some of the charactors didn't talk, they only did sign language it was still cool. The play was for the deaf so one charactor spoke while the other signed what he was saying. It was so odd with sign language, but I still thougt it was my favorite play.
