The way I learned it and describe it is: Science is a methodical way of looking at things. There are no mysteries just answers we don't know yet.
Maybe you need to put on your scoop/reporter hat and poll the neighbourhood.:)

Thank you. I think of science as a way of explaining the mysteries of nature, it is good to hear others opinions.
